I have to admit, this is a bit of a mystery. A beautifully made 1940s satin baseball outfit, with "Alpha" chainstitch embroidered across the chest. This could have been a civilian piece, or could have been made for one of the many "Alpha Companies" that exist in the US Army. I'm afraid time will never tell.
